Community Development

Together for Sustainable Community Development

Following are…

Capacity building training strengthens the knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities of SHG members, enabling them to effectively manage group activities and livelihoods. It enhances financial literacy, entrepreneurship, decision-making, and sustainable income-generation opportunities, promoting self-reliance and community development.

Village Watershed Committees are formed with active participation from community members to plan, implement, and monitor watershed development activities. These committees promote community ownership, ensure sustainable management of natural resources, and strengthen local decision-making for long-term environmental conservation.

SHG Federations bring together multiple Self-Help Groups to strengthen collective leadership, improve coordination, and enhance access to financial services and government schemes. They promote sustainable livelihoods, collective decision-making, and empower women through stronger community institutions.

The Central Coordination Committee is established to provide overall guidance, coordination, and monitoring of project activities across villages and stakeholder groups. It strengthens collaboration among community institutions, local authorities, and project partners to ensure effective implementation and sustainable outcomes.
